These instructions will allow you to print from your Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Chromebook devices and release the print at any copier on campus.  Copying and scanning is also available to you.  If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact ithelp@idyllwildarts.org.

 

Printing

1.            Click the link below, download and install the mobility print driver for your Windows, macOS, iOS, ChromeOS and Android device.    Driver installation instructions are also available via the link below.   The new printer will be named “IA Printers”.  Print a document to test.

Windows Users: When prompted to enter the papercut username and password while installing the print driver, enter your full IA Gmail address and password.

macOS Users: Go to System Preference>Printers & Scanners. Click the "+" button and add the printer named "IA Printers". Make a test print and when prompted, please enter your full IA Gmail address and password and check the box to save the password in your Keychain. 

You will not be able to print if your IA Gmail address and password are entered incorrectly. If your IA Gmail password changes, delete the Keychain entry for the printer under “login”. Keychain Access is located under Utilities in the Applications folder. The


2.            Go to the copier you want to print to.  You will see the Papercut sign-in screen on the copier display.  

 

 

3.            Tap your ID card on the ecoprintq card reader attached to the copier.  ID card authentication is also required for scanning and copying.  (note: if you do not have your ID card, you can manually enter your full IA Gmail address and password to sign into Papercut.)


4.            You should see three choices, Print Release, Device Functions and Scan.  Choose Print Release to print the test document.

 

5.            Select the print from the print queue and tap print.   Pending print jobs will stay in queue for 24 hours before being removed.

Copying and Scanning

6.            By tapping Device Functions at the Papercut menu, you will have a choice to use the Copier Classic, Scanner Classic and Print/Scan (Memory Storage Device).

 

7.            Tap Copier (Classic) to make copies.

 

 

8.            Tap Scanner (Classic) to scan to any email address you choose.

 

9. Tap Print/Scan (Memory Storage Device) for options to print from a storage device (USB Drive or SD Card) or to scan to a storage device.

10. By tapping Scan at the Papercut menu, you will be able to scan to your Email address or your Google My Drive.

 

11.          If scanning to your email, you will receive an email from your own email address with an attached file.

 

12.          If scanning to your Google My Drive, you will receive an email notification and the scan will deposit in a folder on your Google My Drive named “Scans for Papercut MF”.
